In February I spend a weekend at a two days Pat Hastings seminar.
Pat Hastings is an expert in dogs and canine structure. It was a full packed weekend covering, among other things, basic canine structure, how to evaluate structural quality of puppies and adult dogs. Learnings about breeding, show ect.
It was a good mix of theory and practice. We had a lot of “test dogs” from different breeds we evaluated and debated about. I brought a couple of Chows, Mandela on Saturday and Maggie on Sunday. Interesting to hear Pats thoughts about the structure of a Chow Chow – and of my two Chows.
Many notes were taking during the weekend and I'm looking forward to receive her books. Definitely a lady I would like to meet again.
