Show Of Winners

It completely took me by surprise that Mandela went all the way and won the prestige Winners Cup at Show Of Winners 2016. Some of the top winning dogs (across all breeds) in last show season gathers at this “gala show” to compete in different “cups”. The dogs meet two at a time and the winner moves on to the next match – again two dogs against each other. The winner is the remaining dog after the last match in that cup.

I had entered Mandela in Winners Cup to see and experience the show – not with the highest expectations as the competition is hard from lovely dogs, who has also done well during the last year of showing. Mandela ended up winning all his matches over Basenji, Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu, Australian Shepard, Bullmastiff & American Akita – awarding him the title Winners Cup Winner 2016. And then finishing of winning Best In Show #2. What a day!

A huge thanks to all-round judge Frank Kane, UK for appreciating my boy and the audiences – both those at the show and those watching the livestreaming at home – cheering for us all the way.
