Update on 2016

2016 has been a good year. New titles, a new dog and the first litter of Chow Chow puppies in Kennel Hjelme.

MANDELA
With two great achievements Mandela did great advertisement for the Chow Chow here in Denmark.

BEST IN SHOW – for the first time in over 25 years a Chow Chow wins Best In Show at an international show in Denmark. Read more in the news Best In Show.

WINNERS CUP – for the first time ever a Chow Chow wins Winners Cup at Show of Winners (a ”gallashow” for the most winning dogs across breeds). Read more in the news Show Of Winners.

Also this year Mandela took the victory as BREED WINNER in Danish Kennel Club and CHOW CHOW OF THE YEAR in Danish Chow Chow Club for the second year in a row (3rd year as best Chow Chow male in Denmark). In addition to this also fine achievements as Club Winner male in DK (2nd year in a row), Dutch Club Winner, Dutch Champion, Group winner in The Netherlands, Nordic Winner.

NELLY
Nelly haven’t been to that many shows in 2016 as we planned for her to have puppies. But she also did well and won best bitch at two shows in Denmark and on abroad. That was in The Netherlands where she won her last CACIB and hereby the title INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION. In addition to this she ended as Club winner bitch no. 3 and Chow Chow bitch of the year no. 5. Besides her “show career” Nelly also spend time on motherhood; 4 lovely puppies who all have found new wonderful homes in loving families.

MAGGIE
In the beginning of the year Maggie moved in and she has found her place in the flock. She been to a couple of shows and has among others won Best In Show Baby no. 5 (national show) and Best In Show puppy no. 4 (international show). In addition to this Maggie has been a really great playmate/aunt for Nellys puppies.
